A cool statement any time of day or night and a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art which will make you proud to own or give. Certificate of authenticity is provided on request.

Tawny, supple, sinuous, graceful-all words we associate with the leopard-and with the way you can feel when you wear jewelry that features leopardskin jasper. This is just one of a multitude of fascinating jaspers found all over the world. In fact, jasper comes in so many unique forms, many are named for their locations. In Oregon alone, we have Rogueite from the Rogue River, Biggs jasper from Biggs, Ochoco jasper from Ochoco Lake, and Owyhee jasper from the Owyhee River gorge. None is more intriguing than this unusual golden-tawny stone with its intricate brown leopard skin markings. Rich browns or greys heighten its fascinating "animal nature." You can be certain, like the leopard itself, wherever it appears, leopardskin jasper will have everyone's immediate and undivided attention.

Abstract Day

At the end of my day I see a woman dancing in a red dress.
What do you see?

All she needs is a Pakistani Jade chunky necklace to go into the night with the right vibes.

Photographing My Art and Designs

As I am very new to Etsy, only three weeks now, I meet challenges every day. One of them is how to photograph my long necklaces, which are tricky to display and photograph. I found that some of my paintings provide a great background, lending interest to the composition. When tightly cropped, just an abstract background remains, offering contrast and balance.

For those tight close ups of the whole piece, I go where it takes me, on a different journey every time. This time, inspired by a very light white hat, sipping a minty tea drink by the sea, under a Royal Poinciana tree, come to my imagination.

Cool nights on the desert are what these Picasso Jasper coin beads necklace suggest, when you look at the individual landscapes naturally happening on each one of them. Sandy rocks and infinite plains in the never ending desert. A hammered sterling silver donut focal is at the center, as an oasis of cool water not too far.

Each day I travel to different places in my mind, as I work with gemstones and metals from different places of the world, near and far, which lend us their insights through their origins and organic history.

The Colors and Textures of Easter

White linen, turquoise nuggets and a fine mesh lacy hat, a slow long drive down the Keys to catch a golden sunset. Sterling silver fluted watermelon beads anticipate the welcoming evening, softened by the warmth of tawny tiny wood heishi beads. A favorite for Easter and through summer.
